We are partnering with a leading company specializing in Water Hygiene / Legionella services in the South East region, seeking a skilled Water Hygiene / Remedial Engineer to join their team.

The ideal candidate should have practical experience as an engineer / plumber, conducting tasks such as water sampling, temperature monitoring, TMV servicing, dead leg removals, and pipework alterations (Copper & PVC) for a reputable organization. The role involves working across various sites including Local Authority, Educational, Retail, and Manufacturing facilities.

Consideration will be given to applicants residing in areas like Woking, Bracknell, Windsor, Reading, Reigate, Epsom, Crawley, among others.


Experience & Qualifications:

  • Hold an industry recognized qualification (e.g., City and Guilds / NVQ L2 or higher in plumbing).
  • Prior experience in a recognized Water Hygiene / Legionella company as an engineer or plumber.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
  • Effective communication skills and a positive demeanor.
  • Good IT literacy.

The Role:

  • Adhere to HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines, conducting water sampling and temperature monitoring.
  • Service and test TMV and failsafes.
  • Execute closed system sampling and analysis.
  • Perform deadleg removals and pipework replacements.
  • Diagnose and rectify on-site issues promptly.
  • Install expansion valves.
  • Inspect and sign off plumbing work.
  • Conduct flushing of less-used outlets.
  • Execute showerhead cleans and descales.
  • Perform CWST cleans and disinfections.
  • Accurately update onsite logbooks upon task completion.
