Role Overview



The Integrated Planning Advisor plays a crucial role as a key liaison supporting the Finance community. Reporting to Group Business Planning in Planning & Performance Management (PPM), the role focuses on creating and maintaining new standards and processes following Integrated Planning principles.

The successful candidate will be one of two individuals located in the UK, working alongside a team leader and two analysts based in Houston. This role requires a proactive, self-driven individual capable of offering expert guidance on various topics, from planning processes to My Common Data Model (CDM) principles and definitions, as well as cadence and GFO instructions.

The ideal candidate should demonstrate a strong inclination towards identifying areas for continuous improvement and providing recommendations for process or system redesign as needed.

As the Product Owner/Manager of the Group Business Planning process and system (Upstream, Gas & Low Carbon, and Enablers & Integrators), the individual will lead the application of a Common Data Model, ensuring accurate financial data flow, audit, and assurance. Additionally, they will spearhead the design, implementation, and integration of process optimization opportunities to promote innovative ways of working, such as acting as the Product Owner of Group GFO Instructions and MyCDM Principles & Definitions.

The incumbent will also collaborate in leading the Group Business Planning Community of Practice to foster collaboration and integration among Business units, Enablers & Integrators, and Central teams.
