Operating throughout the UK for both SMEs and large corporations, this company boasts a client list that is continuously expanding at a rate of approximately 20% annually.

Due to their ongoing growth, our client is currently seeking a 3rd line technical engineer to handle installation, maintenance, and migration projects in the Yorkshire and surrounding areas.

Ideal Candidate

• The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of commercial experience in a technical 2nd / 3rd line engineering role within a fast-paced environment like managed services.

• You should be highly motivated with a strong understanding of infrastructure, server migration, system networks, installation, maintenance, cloud migration, and data security. Occasional client site visits will be required.

Skills and Responsibilities

• Minimum of 3 years of commercial experience in a relevant field with expertise in 3rd line troubleshooting and diagnostics.

• Proficiency in Windows Server (2012 to 2022) administration and migration.

• Knowledge of Active Directory configuration/administration and network essentials like DNS/DHCP.

• Technical understanding of O365 & SharePoint migration, virtualization (Hyper-V / VMware), firewall technologies, and authentication solutions.

• Strong customer service and client-facing skills focused on delivering exceptional service.

• Eagerness to learn about new products and stay updated on the latest technologies.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with Azure - IaaS & PaaS, SQL Server, Microsoft Intune, Conditional Access, Defender for Endpoint / O365, Encryption, and VPN.
