This Special Education Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) role is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday during school hours.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Assisting the class teacher in the delivery of lessons and activities to students with special needs
  • Providing oneonone support to students with special needs
  • Helping to implement individual education plans for students
  • Assisting with the monitoring and assessment of students' progress
  • Communicating with parents and other members of the school's support team to ensure that students receive the best possible support
  • Experience working with students with special needs
  • A good understanding of different types of special needs, including autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties
  • The ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work well as part of a team
