We are currently looking for a
Warehouse Operator to join us at our facility in
Wellingborough, England (UK).


The purpose of this role is to operate within the logistics department to meet planned volumes and targets in accordance with safety and quality standards.

Responsible for helping deliver the departments performance targets by following agreed operating procedures and actively participating in continuous improvement methodologies to improve performance in terms of HSE, quality, cost, delivery, and team development.


Key responsibilities:

  • Operation of powered material handling equipment to receive, move, store, load, and unload finished product(s) and stock. Pick and pack customer orders. Load outbound vehicles.
  • Forklift driving, labeling product prior to shipping, stock checks as required. Willing and able to handle finished goods in loading tanks or filling machines (heavy materials). Packing powder into 20kg boxes and stacking them on pallets.
  • Checking paperwork and orders/deliveries. Excellent Housekeeping skills. Participate in daily improvement meetings in a proactive manner.
  • Communicate any maintenance issues to the Maintenance / Engineering team to ensure mínimal disruption to the manufacturing schedule. Communicate the manufacturing status (issues and activities performed) to the Shift Supervisor.
  • Ensure a safe and healthy working environment in all Production areas. Ensure compliance with Company procedures and policies. Ensure all production related documentation is available in advance of manufacturing commencement.

Key requirements:

  • Physically dexterous, ability to work quickly, accurately, and safely.
  • Forklift Truck Licence (Reach / Counterbalance) would be ideal. Training will be provided.
  • Manufacturing, process, and machinery skills must be competent in numeracy to read and understand numbers, picking orders, and safety documentation.
  • Ability to understand and follow company guidelines policies and procedures. Desire to work towards continual improvement in the areas of Health and safety and quality.
