About the Company:
This company is on the lookout for a Lead DevOps Engineer to join their dynamic team. They offer a supportive environment where you can grow both personally and professionally.

Salary: Negotiable
Work Arrangement: Hybrid, with 2 days per week in Belfast

Primary Purpose of the Role:

  • Develop high-quality solutions as the Lead DevOps Engineer
  • Report to the Head of Engineering and collaborate with the team
  • Engage with clients to align on technical designs and provide guidance
  • Mentor team members and share knowledge proactively
  • Stay updated on new technologies and grow your expertise

Essential Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Java
  • Experience with Microservices Architecture
  • Knowledge of Automated acceptance testing, BDD, and Cucumber
  • Skills in Performance and scalability testing, e.g., JMeter
  • Familiarity with Penetration testing and OWASP
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Container orchestration
  • Ability to design, create, and call APIs
  • Expertise in SQL Databases such as Postgres, MySQL, MariaDB
  • Previous work with AWS services like EC2, RDS, S3, Route 53, and more
  • Capable of working effectively in a team with minimal supervision
  • Experience in setting up CI/CD pipelines

Desirable Skills:

  • Familiarity with the ELK stack and Apache Kafka
  • Knowledge of Spring Security, OAuth2 flows, React, and React Native
  • Experience with Keycloak, Camunda, and OpenAPI / Swagger
  • Proficiency in Nginx setup and configuration
