Randstad C&P is currently looking for a skilled Refrigeration Engineer to join their team and provide maintenance, servicing, and repairs of commercial refrigeration systems in various locations in Cumbria, Lancaster, Kendal, and Penrith.



Position:
Mobile Refrigeration Engineer

Location:
Cumbria, Lancaster, Kendal, and Penrith

Contract Type:
Full-time, permanent

Salary:
Max £45,000 annually with company van and fuel card included
Hours: 40 hrs per week, weekdays with potential for extra hours

Time Off:
Paid holidays and bank holidays

Retirement Plan:
Competitive Company Pension Scheme

On-call rotation: 1 week every 4

Main Duties:
- Perform regular maintenance, servicing, and repairs on commercial refrigeration systems.
- Identify and resolve issues in refrigeration systems to ensure optimal functionality.
- Execute planned maintenance tasks as scheduled.
- Act promptly on reactive maintenance requests and offer effective solutions.
- Maintain detailed records of work done, including parts and hours spent.
- Communicate effectively with customers and provide high-quality service on-site.
- Follow safety protocols and company policies consistently.

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Refrigeration Engineer, preferably in commercial environments.
- Relevant qualifications in refrigeration (e.g., NVQ, City and Guilds or equivalent).
- Knowledge of diverse refrigeration systems and related equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and diagnostics capabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Valid UK driving license.
