We have the perfect position for you at Meadows Park in Louth.

Meadows Park is one of our newer and most beautiful care homes, state of the art décor, cinema room, cocktail bar and more.


We are looking for a strong individual to lead a supportive team of housekeepers and to keep the home at high levels of cleanliness they deserve.


As a Head Housekeeper you will be responsible for management of overall cleanliness and hygiene of Meadows Park and to supervise, train and support the team of housekeepers and laundry staff.

There are many levels to this position and some of the responsibilities are:

  • Maintain & prioritise the workload of, and allocate tasks to, domestic and laundry staff
  • Ensure all areas of the home are clean and tidy
  • Create and maintain cleaning regimes (daily, weekly, periodically etc.) for all areas of the care home
  • Dusting, vacuuming and washing down of all areas
  • Polishing of mirrors and furniture (as applicable)
  • Dusting of all ledges, pictures, high areas and skirting boards
  • Dry Cleaning & Shampooing of carpets
  • Cleaning of curtains and furniture
  • Emptying/cleaning of waste bins
  • Restocking of toiletries, soaps, towels etc
  • Understand and ensure the implementation of the care homes Health & Safety policy, Emergency and Fire procedures and COSHH
  • Ensure all equipment is maintained in a safe, clean and efficient working condition
  • Prepare housekeeping rotas reflecting the appropriate cleaning times of the care home
  • Supervise and instruct junior and new staff members in all aspects of their work in the care home, giving help and guidance where appropriate
