Role purpose / summary

The IAM Architect will be responsible for performing the necessary leadership, facilitation, planning, analysis and design tasks related to the development of an overall security architecture. The IAM Architect will partner and work closely with key strategic vendors, service providers as well as IT application solution architects to plan, design &/or challenge the security of the application architecture approaches that support cross-functional business needs and align with longer term best practice standards and viable technology roadmaps. Individuals within this role will specialize in the security architecture disciplines area of application solutions.

  • Creates and maintains standards surrounding documentation related to identity processes, procedure and infrastructure.
  • Assesses current applications and architecture to ensure current implementations align with industry guidelines, best practices and management approved standards.
  • Architects plans for implementing management's directives in most secure manners with least disruption.
  • Excellent understanding of Identity Access management Experience working with CyberArk & Okta.


Key Skills/ requirements

  • 4 years of dedicated identity access management experience.
  • 3 years Designing and implementing identity solutions.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of identity technologies and concepts.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Active Directory, Single-Sign On (SSO), and Federated Identities.
  • Proven knowledge of identity frameworks and the deployment of various identity models within an enterprise setting.
  • Enhances security team accomplishments and competence by planning delivery of solutions; answering technical and procedural questions for less experienced team members; teaching improved processes; mentoring team members.
  • Plans security systems by evaluating identity technologies; developing requirements for identity governance, automated administration, designs public key infrastructures (PKIs), including use of C certification authorities (CAs) and digital signatures as well as hardware and software; adhering to industry standards.
  • Prepares system security reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing data and trends.
  • Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
