About the role: You'll play a pivotal role in managing diverse loan portfolios for various clients, including banks, specialist lenders, and private equity funds. Your responsibilities will encompass post-completion loan servicing activities, ensuring compliance with service level agreements and current legislation. Working with individuals, partnerships, SPVs, and Limited Companies within these portfolios, you'll maintain a high standard of service delivery, prioritizing fairness to customers and striving for optimal outcomes. Your role will involve contributing to strategic improvements in processes, procedures, and systems, and collaborating with key stakeholders to drive positive changes. Additionally, you'll support defined projects, meet deadlines and achieve set objectives under the guidance of the Buy to Let Team Leader. Responsibilities:
  • Explain loan terms and conditions clearly to customers
  • Process information requests within service-level agreements
  • Resolve standard loan inquiries from customers and advisors
  • Maintain accurate customer and loan information
  • Accurately inform customers of payment due dates and collect payments following BACS rules
  • Provide prompt redemption statements and release loan security upon receipt of funds
  • Handle financial transactions in the servicing system
  • Ensure accurate onboarding of new loans and issuance of correct correspondence
  • Monitor loans approaching expiry and take necessary follow-up actions
  • Review company watch notifications and take appropriate actions
  • Communicate professionally with clients, third parties, and internal teams
  • Report system or loan issues accurately and proactively, making recommendations as needed
Experience required:
  • Experience within the mortgage/lending industry.
  • Basic knowledge of buy-to-let mortgages and specialist finance in the UK.
  • Knowledge of the applicable regulations governing the financial services industry.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Knowledge of the loan redemption process.
