ABOUT THE ROLE
A Junior Business Advisor assists senior advisors and clients with business operations, identifying areas for improvement, and developing strategies to enhance business performance.
GENERAL ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Client Engagement:
- Assist in conducting initial consultations with clients to understand their business needs and objectives.
- Support senior advisors in maintaining client relationships and providing ongoing support.
Research and Analysis:
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats.
- Analyse financial data, business reports, and performance metrics to assess business health and identify areas for improvement.
- Assist in developing business plans, financial models, and strategic plans.
Strategy Development:
- Collaborate with senior advisors to develop strategies for business growth, efficiency improvements, and problemsolving.
- Assist in the creation of detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to clients.
Implementation Support:
- Help clients implement recommended changes by providing guidance and support.
- Monitor progress and provide regular updates to senior advisors and clients.
- Assist in training and development programs for client staff as needed.
Project Management:
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing business advisory projects.
- Track project timelines, deliverables, and budgets to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.
Administrative Duties:
- Maintain organised records of client interactions, reports, and project documentation.
- Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items.
Collaboration and Teamwork:
- Work closely with senior advisors and other team members to deliver highquality advisory services.
- Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and professional development activities.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, Management, or a related field. (Preferred not essential)
Preferred Experience (Not Essential):
Previous experience in a business advisory role, management consulting, financial analysis, or a related field (internships or entry-level positions can be applicable).
SKILLS:
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to create clear, concise reports and presentations.
- Strong interpersonal skills for client interactions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational and timemanagement skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Basic understanding of project management principles.
