OBJECTIVE:

  • Providing first class working practice within the warehouse in compliance with SHC's policies and vision.
  • Receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations
  • Assisting with setting up layout and ensure efficient space utilization
  • To ensure medicinal products are stored at the required temperatures
  • Completing tasks within allotted time frames

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Loading and unloading of transport vehicles
  • Checkingin, verification and reconciliation of goods received
  • Inputting deliveries onto Goods Received Notes
  • Organization of goods and storage locations in warehouse
  • Order picking, packing and shipping of outbound orders and consignments
  • Liaising with transport companies and arranging international deliveries/shipments
  • Raising dispatch and delivery documentation of shipments
  • Monitoring temperature mapping and recording equipment
  • Forklift inspection and preworks preparation
  • General warehouse cleaning and organisation duties
  • Credo maintenance and tracking
  • Maintaining calibration log for temperature logging
  • Carry out FMD checks
  • Any other task that may be required within reason

  • Proven work experience as a Warehouse Operative in GDP environment preferred
  • Expertise in warehouse procedures and best practices
  • Ability to implement process improvement initiatives
  • Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
  • Strong decision making and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
