About Us:


Oxford Data Consultancy (ODCGIS) provides a service of assisting Housing and Council clients get the benefit from Geographical Information Systems (GIS).

ODC has won a considerable amount of data capture project work and is looking for several people to join the company initially for a minimum of 1-2 months.


The Role:


The position would suit an enthusiastic individual who is happy to work as part of a small team doing GIS data capture.

Working with computer mapping to record ground that needs to be maintained (grass, shrubs, tree etc)

Skills & Qualifications Required:

The following skills and qualification are either essential or desirable, but full training will be provided:

  • Microsoft Office Experience (Essential)
  • A Keen eye for detail (Essential)
  • Resilience to repetitive tasks (Essential)
  • GIS Experience (Essential)
  • CAD Experience (Desirable)

Rate of Pay:

The position is Full Time 40 Hours / week.

The rate of pay for the position will be £10.00 per hour, plus production bonus of up to £1 per hour.


Term:

The position is initially for a short term contract of 1 month, with the possibility of them being extended.

Location:


Although the role can be conducted from your home office space, a minimum of 1-2 weeks will be spent at our offices in Bampton, Oxfordshire (Hotel etc provided) to undergo training.


Annual Leave:

20 days annual leave per year pro rata
