I am working with a fast growing PE backed business who are looking to hire a Finance Business Partner to join their high calibre finance team.
You will be joining a market leader who are growing organically as well at through acquisition. This is business that prides itself on offering development and progression opportunities.Your role as a FBP - Commercial will be to focus on the revenue generating aspects of the business.
A key focus going forward will be the analysis of retail vs wholesale and the role will focus on that.
You will be required to identify strategies that could enhance the company profits, perform analysis, and track key KPI's on sales and marketing activities.
The main link between the finance department, retail, marketing and sales.Regularly update and analyse variances on key financial and operational KPI's relating to the commercial functions.
Aid commercial functions with the budgeting process and provide insights and advice to managers on key variance to budgets.
Analyse sales and marketing reports and suggest strategies for improving business performance.Work closely with the commercial managers and other commercial team members in providing data-backed recommendations to the business to support effective decision making.
Coordinate with finance team to streamline and channel efforts to improve financial performance of the organisation.Produce return analysis on areas built that shows when they are expected to generate profit and provide insights on what actions need to be taken to generate profit sooner than planned.
Provide monthly reporting and narrative for board decks that provide insight into variances and business strategy around the commercial aspect of the business.
Qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACAPrevious experience in Business Partnering
Strong analytical skills and commercial awareness.
Sound financial modelling skills to assist with financial planning.
A bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Statistics, or Economics; a Master's in Business Administration or a similar field is a plus
