  • Ministerial Office
  • Administration Officer
  • The Ministerial Office works closely with Ministers, helping them in their day today duties as they make decisions.
  • We are a fastpaced and closelyknit team which strongly believes in the importance of good quality governance.
  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills together with strong time management and communication skills are a must. Ideally, you'll have an interest in local current affairs and a desire to work in public service.
  • In this role, you will provide a comprehensive and professional administration service to Ministers and Assistant Ministers to enable them to meet their ministerial priorities. This includes diary management, arranging meetings and coordinating requests. You'll work closely with a Private Secretary to ensure the Minister is well briefed and together you'll screen Ministerial correspondence and prepare responses.
  • We'll expect you to be comfortable working in a professional office environment and to be able to use your initiative to prioritise your workload. The ability to think on your feet to solve problems will serve you well.
