Main Purpose
High quality customer engagement and recruitment to meet Centre referral requirements, through a

variety of marketing, learner and community engagement activity.

To support and encourage learners to learn and personally and professionally grow through appropriate Careers, Information, Advice and Guidance (CIAG), throughout their learning journey.

To build high quality/yield referral sources through networking and strong relationships.

To maintain contact and dialogue with learner's post programme to track destination and offer opportunities for further learning as appropriate.


Key Responsibilities

  • Operate within the performance standards as per the measures defined with role KPI's
  • Capture and record accurate and timely customer information throughout all learning related documents including, but not limited to, learner starting point and distance travelled
  • Accurate and timely completion of all mandated documentation ensuring it meets funding eligibility and audit compliance criteria
  • Develop and own careers advice and IAG activity throughout the learning journey, to enable the provision of expert advice, guidance and signposting in line with current customer capability and future aspiration
  • Identify opportunities to increase outcomes to meet all contract deliverable lines
  • Support delivery of nonregulated provision to maintain learner engagement and support their progression into positive destinations
  • Collaborate with Centre colleagues to ensure there is a warm handover of learners ready to start their accredited learning and to provide additional support and IAG where learners are identified as at risk of leaving their programme of learning early
  • Collaborate with Career Coaches across Skills to create a culture which engenders a quality focused and consistent approach to customer attraction, retention and growth
  • Proactively engage and collaborate with wider business stakeholders to maximise referral and progression opportunities
  • Undertake both community and national market research and analysis to ensure our services are market leading and relevant
  • Keep abreast of recruitment opportunities and local labour market intelligence and ensure we are represented and best placed to attract customers through these sources
  • Build and maximise employer relationships to both enhance progression opportunities and enrich technical workplace knowledge through the attendance of appropriate programme sessions
  • Use the marketing tools and media feeds available to attract customers in line with our target audience and local business plan volumes
  • Use systems and tools provided to mine opportunities and maintain accurate records
  • Promoting the inclusion and acceptance of all learners, celebrating diversity and ensuring the implementation of equal opportunities
  • Collaboratively manage the behaviour of the learners, promoting and maintaining a safe and secure learning environment
  • Seek out and maintain CPD to provide best in class expertise and service levels
  • Conduct your role in line with the company values and expected behaviours

Essential Criteria

  • A recognised qualification in IAG at Level 2 and willing to work towards attainment of L
  • Excellent organisational, planning and prioritisation skills coupled with the ability to manage own workload
  • Ability to collaborate and work seamlessly as part of a wider team
  • Ability to engage with and motivate learners from all backgrounds and respond appropriately to their individual needs
  • Able to travel to meet the demands of the business and the role
  • Ability to compliantly and accurately complete paperwork
  • Proven track record of working to targets and meeting KPI's
  • Previous experience in a similar customer focused role

Salary:
Up to £28,000.00 per year
