The Role:

Purpose & Key accountabilities

  • Responsibility of the function according to TCR documents of FO
- (Copy and Paste of the Responsibility within the TCR)

  • Coordinate and implement running changes without impact to TLO performance. Manage interface between Plant Change Management and Physical Logistics functions and LSP.

Key accountabilities of the function
- (pls. use suitable verbs as agree, verify, operate, support, prepare, decide, etc.)

Technical, Overall

  • Fact holder in physical logistics for Plant running changes processes (ECPs)
  • Excellent knowledge of OtD logistics change and launch processes.
  • Sound knowledge of applied systems (L-Term Web, SAP, BoB)
  • Coordinates planning and operational tasks between Plant Launch and Change Management functions, Physical Logistics and LSP
  • Attends interface meetings as required.

ECP and Flashing coordination.

  • Supports with physical material supply for line trials.
  • Checks D1 form for changes requested and change timing.
  • Checks supply to line type and updates control sheets accordingly.
  • Distributes control sheets to LSP and PL lineside supply function.
  • Check for task completion of interface functions and LSP.
  • Organises and validates removal of old stock and coordinates obsolete booking process.
  • Coordinates the requirements for flashing of parts with SIT team.

Launch store support.

  • Executes goods receiving and booking in processes.
  • Executes pick ticket creation using MFD list to support.
  • Physical picking of parts, ahead of kit layout for launch builds
  • Processing and supply of shortages to support launch build.
  • Supports with physical material supply for launch builds to drop off zones.
  • Physical transfer of material from launch to series warehouse locations
  • Physical transfer of stock to flash centre, in coordination with SIT team and launch PSP.
  • Physical exchange of old and new stock in Qloop process and runouts.
  • Bonding of obsolete and runout material.
  • Execution of physical scrapping of parts
  • Support inventory accounting in launch store

Impact on innovations and changes
- (What is the expected extent of change of a function in terms of processes, systems, etc.?)

  • Coordinate the implementation of running changes including supply of material for line trials and obsolete stock to drop off zone or warehouse.
- (e.g. What is communicated how to whom?)

  • Manage interface between Plant Change Management, Physical Logistics functions and LSP to ensure smooth introduction of running changes without impact to performance.
  • Educational Background / Professional Knowledge and Experience / Other Skills

Education

  • Level 2 Qualification or Equivalent Experience
  • Work experience, Leadership experience
  • Working with external partners and suppliers advantageous
  • Logistics and MHE handling experience advantageous.
  • 3 years' experience in equivalent position

Additional skills:
special skills / technical ability etc.


  • Sound knowledge of logistics OtD launch processes.
  • Good knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes
  • Good level Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Basic Problem-Solving Skills
  • MHE License
