Our company is looking for a dedicated **Teaching Assistant** to join our team in **Rotherham/Worksop**. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting the planning and delivery of high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment for young people.

The **Teaching Assistant** will share a strong belief in the ability of young people to achieve their work and personal goals. They will set challenging expectations, promote self-esteem, and encourage independence.


Main Duties of the **Teaching Assistant**:
- To supervise learners, including those with special educational needs, and ensure their safety and access to learning.
- Assist in the development and implementation of Individual Learning Plans/targets and EHC plans.
- Establish positive relationships with young people and engage with them based on their individual needs.
- Promote inclusivity and acceptance among all learners.
- Encourage interaction and engagement in teaching activities.
- Assist learners in using digital platforms for learning.
- Provide feedback to learners on their progress.
- Collaborate with teachers to support learning goals.
- Assist in planning and preparing learning activities.
- Use equipment and resources effectively to support lesson plans.

Role Requirements:
- Experience working with children and young people.
- Level 3 qualification in supporting teaching and learning.
- Literacy and Numeracy skills at Level 2 or above.
- Proficiency in using technology for teaching.
- Ability to work across different curriculum areas.
- Commitment to safeguarding children and promoting their welfare.
