What you'll be responsible for:

  • Take instructions from the Team Leader and/or Engineering Technicians to collect, deliver, receive, clean and issue replacement consumables relating to medical equipment to and from the medical electronics department
  • When required carry out first line repairs and advise users how to set up and use a limited range of equipment to ensure effective deployment of appropriate equipment Trust wide.
  • Carry out equipment maintenance, e.g., cleansing, changing batteries, filters etc to ensure all medical devices meet optimum standards using the appropriate tools and test equipment provided.

You'll learn the following whilst working at the trust:

  • An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
  • A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation

You'll have the following skills/experience:

  • Relevant experience
