Our client is currently seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding team.

Specializing in retail projects for known brands like Lidl, Sainsburys, and Tesco, the company focuses on renovating large stores, warehouses, and constructing new supermarkets, with project budgets ranging from £5 million to £40 million.

Key Skills:

  • A degree in Quantity Surveying or similar field
  • Accredited by RICS or MRIS, or working towards accreditation
  • Experience in Retail or Commercial projects
  • Familiarity with NEC and JCT contracts
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and adapt to changing workloads
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to nurture both existing and new relationships
  • Strong ambition for career growth and success

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing projects to ensure they are completed within budget and up to high standards
  • Understanding client needs, offering procurement advice, and conducting feasibility studies
  • Calculating material quantities, labor costs, and establishing realistic project timelines
  • Developing and analyzing project cost estimates for tenders, including materials, labor, and time requirements
  • Creating tender and contract documentation and delivering expert pre- and post-contract assistance
  • Supplying clients with cost analysis, guidance, and reports to identify potential cost-saving opportunities
