About The Role


We are currently recruiting for
female Support Workers to work with a female client who has a spinal cord injury, living in her own home in the Chatham area.


Support Worker Duties:

We have an exciting opportunity to recruit for an
established care team.

You will work on a rota basis, including weekdays and weekends to cover day shifts/night shifts and sleeping night shifts.

You will be supporting this client to maintain her independence and you must be flexible, reliable, intuitive and mindful. You will be observant, sensitive and considerate.

The shift times are as follows:

  • Long Day shift:
  • Night shift:
Non-smokers are preferred as this is a completely
non-smoking household.

An Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Check
will be required
.

Rates of Pay:
Up to £18.50 per hour upon successful completion of competencies and training.


About You


You will be approachable, attentive and dependable and you will work well as part of a team, but also able to use your own initiative.

You must be respectful of this client's need for her own personal space and boundaries. Experience and ability to understand and deal with complex needs is desirable but not essential. Being registered on the DBS update service would be beneficial and a full driving licence would be preferred.
