About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated individual to work collaboratively within a team to deliver top-notch civil engineering services to our clients. The role involves performing high-quality work on-site and actively contributing towards the team's objectives in an efficient and cooperative manner.
The position will primarily involve working on projects in the Midlands region, particularly in Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, and Leicestershire.
Responsibilities:
- Execute various labor and groundworks as per specified standards and timelines, under the guidance of the Ganger/Foreman.
- Operate company vehicles, machinery, and equipment in compliance with established protocols.
- Complete all necessary documentation promptly and accurately.
- Ensure adherence to current health and safety protocols, including regulations related to equipment and personal protective equipment.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, clients, and suppliers.
Key Requirements and Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience in diverse civil engineering areas such as major highways, water and wastewater treatment, or rail projects.
- Proficient in tasks like pipe laying, chamber installation, kerb laying, earthworks, ducting, minor concrete works, and general civil engineering.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
- Previous experience in customer-oriented settings.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Understanding of health and safety protocols and responsibility towards colleagues.
- Familiarity with relevant machinery and equipment.
- Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility in terms of duties and working hours.
- Willingness to engage in continuous training and skill development.

Salary and Benefits:
- Competitive salary ranging from £12.70 to £18.03 per hour, depending on experience
