Job Title: Clinical Fellow in Paediatric Infectious Diseases

Company: St Georges Healthcare NHS Trust

This 6-12 month fixed term position offers Registrar level coverage for the department, starting in October 2024.

The Clinical Fellow will be responsible for all duties of a Paediatric Infectious Diseases (PID) Registrar, actively participating in various activities of the PID Unit.

  • Providing in-patient services for PID, including dedicated ward support and clinics for specialized infectious concerns.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team including Microbiology, Neonatal Intensive Care Units, and other hospital departments.
  • Encouraging fellows to engage in audits, service enhancements, and research initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Carry out all duties of a Paediatric Infectious Diseases Registrar.
  • Participate in academic meetings and programs.
  • Contribute to audits, service improvements, and adhere to Health and Safety regulations.
  • Uphold confidentiality, comply with Equal Opportunities policy, and maintain updated skills.
