Reporting to the Technical Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all foods are authentic, safe, legal and produced to the specified quality.

You will support the team in maintaining and managing the food quality systems, BRC standard and any other customer code practice to guarantee that quality and food safety are met across the board.


Key tasks and responsibilities

  • Internal audits
  • Complaint investigation
  • Managing micro sampling and environmental monitoring plan
  • Coordinating internal product panels
  • Maintain equipment calibration
  • Implementing technical procedures and staff training
  • Dealing with supplier issues and noncompliances
  • Handle internal noncompliances
  • Support the technical team in completing finished product and factory specifications and product labels
  • Prepare and assist in customer visits and site technical audits where necessary

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience of working in a food or beverage production Quality Assurance environment.
  • Ideally be educated to degree level in Food Science.
  • HACCP and Food Safety qualifications are highly preferred.
  • PC literate.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Able to plan and organize work efficiently and effectively.
