Your responsibilities as an Occupational Therapist will include:

  • Engaging effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Providing compassionate leadership to junior staff members
  • Overseeing occupational therapy student placements
  • Assisting in staff appraisals and development plans
  • Developing and implementing relevant policies and protocols

To be a Successful Occupational Therapist you will need:

  • Occupational Therapy profession qualification
  • HCPC registration
  • Clinical mental health experience or transferrable skills
  • Proficiency in occupational frames of reference and approaches
  • Demonstrated effective clinical reasoning skills
  • Specialist knowledge of assessment and treatment models
