The Opportunity:

This exciting opportunity will provide an opportunity to work on a strategically important programme working closely with the Customer, Partners and Leonardo Lines of Businesses.

The role will cover all aspects of Project Management including, Stakeholder Management, Lifecycle Management, Team Leadership, all aspects of the Monthly Project Review cycle, Risk Management and Financial Management.

The Project Leader will be responsible for Project execution and delivery, with particular emphasis on ensuring delivery schedules are met, particularly between the stage of repairs being Technically Complete and Ready for Collection.

What you will do:

  • Build and manage relationships with internal / external stakeholders to ensure allocated tasks are managed and executed in line with the company policies and standard. You must be comfortable with chasing responsible departments for updates on tasks (sometimes on a daily basis) and holding them to account on their commitments.
  • Present information to key stakeholders and management to enable wellinformed decisionmaking.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with all functions and LoBs in order to influence project activities and execute deliverables in line with the agreed timeframe and budget.
  • Coordinating and managing risks across the project.
  • Leading allocated tasks effectively, through planning, allocation and reporting of work in order to ensure successful delivery of the project/ plan.
  • Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and the achievement of the Project's objectives.
  • Ensuring dependencies are tracked across the project and reported as agreed.
  • Reporting and escalating to management as needed.
  • Schedule, Cost and Quality adherence.
  • Ensuring adherence to Company's Lifecycle Management (LCM), as appropriate and tailored to suit.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience of SAP essential.
  • Good computer skills and familiar with standard company IT software packages (Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
  • Project Management qualification desirable
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent desirable
Personal- Good written and verbal communication skills.

  • Good organisational skills, able to plan and prioritise work.
  • Experience of processes involved with material management is desirable
