Locum Democratic Services Group Manager

Company: Venn Group

Location: Home Counties

Salary: Up to £500 per day Umbrella

Working Hours: Full Time, Hybrid Working (3-4 days on site required)

Venn Group's specialized legal team is working with a Council in the Home Counties to find a skilled Locum Democratic Services Group Manager for a 3-month assignment. In this role, you will oversee the committee and election teams. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in democratic services at a senior level and have previously managed committee and election teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mentoring and supporting the Committee & Electoral Services Manager
  • Assisting in managing and supervising the committee and elections teams
  • Implementing best practices, particularly within the committee team
  • Coaching, mentoring, and supporting the Committee & Electoral Services Manager
  • Driving the adoption of good practices, especially within the committee team
  • Supporting the monitoring officer in strategic management

This is a full-time position (37 hours per week) with a hybrid working model (3-4 days on site) offering a competitive salary of up to £500 per day Umbrella.
