We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join one of our Clients within the Marks Tey area.

As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a forklift to move, load, and unload materials across their site/warehouse.


Responsibilities:

  • Operate a forklift to move materials within the warehouse
  • Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper placement of items
  • Transport materials to designated areas using the forklift
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines while operating the forklift
  • Inspect and maintain the forklift, reporting any issues or malfunctions
  • Assist with inventory management by accurately recording movement of materials
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks
  • Adhere to warehouse management system procedures for accurate tracking of materials

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role
  • Valid forklift certification or license (preferred)
  • Proficient in operating a forklift and other warehouse equipment
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and procedures
  • Mechanical knowledge to perform minor equipment repairs is a plus

Salary:
£10.41-£10.42 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
