About the role
We're seeking an experienced

Subject Specialist - Healthcare Science to join us in the Provider Development team.


The role of the Subject Specialist Healthcare Science is to provide deep understanding of the sector to include occupational and labour market trends for specialist areas, advise on skills needs and provide direction on the design and implementation of educational and training products within the footprint.


Key responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with teams across NCFE to ensure a coherent response to meeting sector needs.
  • Supporting in the creation and delivery of fit for purpose and innovative healthcare science qualifications and products across the portfolio to include the T Level.
  • Advise on vocational matters throughout the life cycle of qualifications.
  • Engage with external specialists, networks and forums to gain key sector intelligence.

We'd love to hear from you if you hold the following key skills and experience:

  • Educated to degree level in a healthcare science related discipline.
  • Experience in an educational environment i.e. Further Education, Higher Education or workplace
  • Occupationally competent in a healthcare science discipline and be able to demonstrate recent sustained occupational knowledge and skills.
  • Competent giving presentations to diverse audiences
  • Ability to create a climate of collaborative team working.
  • Ability to contribute to continuous improvement.
Within this role you'll have opportunities to collaborate with key internal and external stakeholder in end-to-end product development. You'll have opportunities for continuous professional development to ensure optimum sector knowledge and understanding.
