  • ROLE OVERVIEW_
This role is based 2 days a week in our London office (St. Paul's) and 3 days a week from home, reporting to the Quality Team Leader. The role is within our Quality team and entails supporting customer focus pillar, completing questionnaire and customer queries. Other duties may be assigned to provide day to day support to quality department.

  • KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES_
  • Great understanding of Quality (Technical) requirements and standards of the food industry:

Necessary:
ISO 9001, HACCP, BRC Food or Agents and Brokers.

Desired:
FAMI-QS (animal feed), Organic / BIO, Kosher, Halal, IFS Logistics.

  • Over 3 years of experience in a Quality, Technical or R&D role in the Food, Ingredients or Supplements industry.
  • Some experience in auditing
  • Some experience in resolving nonconformances or complaints
  • High level of business and technical English.
  • Experience working with retail online specification systems desirable but not essential (QADEX, Hamilton Grant etc.)
  • Food legislation / Food labelling training or understanding is essential.
  • Attention to detail completes all tasks in an accurate and consistent manner.
  • Communication skills able to write and speak clearly and articulately with various stakeholders including suppliers, customers and other departments.
  • Able to prioritise and handle change of priorities.
  • Has a sense of urgency and ability to work under pressure to tight timelines.
  • Is able to work autonomously and with a team
