The Support Engineer Apprentice role offers a great opportunity to develop a diverse range of skills in cloud computing technologies.

Working closely with the more senior support engineers as part of a global support team, you'll have the chance to provide both proactive and reactive support to Crayon's clients and partners. In a customer-facing position, it's important to be able to communicate effectively at all levels.

This apprenticeship is ideal for someone who has a passion for learning and is eager to take on various tasks across a range of different technologies.

Salary:£18,000 per annum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Logging support calls and incidents in our Ticketing system
  • Resolving 1st line issues quickly
  • Conducting system checks
  • Providing expert technical support and assistance
  • Taking ownership of technical issues
  • Communicating effectively with customers

What we are looking for: Required knowledge and skills:

  • Demonstrates a strong interest in Cloud technologies, including Adoption, Deployment, Use, and Optimisation.
  • Exhibits a passion for problem-solving, collaborating with others, and automating processes.
  • Assists customers with their transformation, development, and re-engineering to become cloud-native.
  • Requires strong presentation skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of audiences.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels at managing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Displays excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Essential:Overall, the individual should be highly motivated, dedicated to staying up to date with the latest advancements in Cloud technology, and possess the skills necessary to succeed in a dynamic and challenging work environment.

Entry requirements:

  • 3 GCSE's (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
