Title:
Order Picker / Forklift Truck Driver
The Best Connection are looking for Order Pickers with an FLT (Reach) licence for a cold store in LS10.


Duties will include scanning of chilled food products, picking on Reach Truck, loading trailers, as well as other warehouse duties.

It is anticipated that you will be on the FLT approx 80% of the time each shift.


Hours are 4 on, 4 off across days and nights, / There are 3 x 30 minute breaks, only 2 of them are unpaid.

Regular comfort breaks every 20 minutes are encouraged in the warm room. Each shift will be paid at 11 hours.

Every 4 weeks the rota will result in only working a 3 day week, the company will provide an extra shift to bump up the hours to a 4 day week if the worker wanted.


Temperatures are usually around -18 degrees but can be as cold as -25 degrees but PPE is provided by the client to ensure workers aren't affected by the cold conditions.


Rate is currently £10.91 per hour across all shifts but a pay review is currently underway and expect to have an increase shortly to be more competitive.

Immediate starts, possibility of a permanent contract after 13 weeks.
