An opportunity has arisen for a committed and enthusiastic person to join our award winning Parks and Cemeteries team, within Environmental Services.
The Parks and Cemetery Service in Hyndburn has 10 green flag awards, which is the highest number for a Council in Lancashire, while at the same time providing essential front line services to residents.
If you have desire to work outdoors and a passion for the environment, then working in the parks and cemetery team is definitely for you.
The parks and cemetery team has a long history of producing skilled gardeners, horticulturalists and tree specialists who work hard to deliver timely and effective services to the people of Hyndburn.
As an Apprentice Gardener you will gain hands on experience and learn to carry out grounds maintenance activities, grass and turf care, sports pitch maintenance and tree maintenance.
