Secondary IT Teacher- Boston


Milk Education are recruiting for an IT Teacher for a Secondary School in Boston, Lincolnshire to work on a long-term temp to perm basis.

In this role you will be teaching small groups of 4 students at one time.

This is an SEMH school, who prides itself on promoting positive mental health and wellbeing to the entire school community.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum
  • Teach IT to students using various instructional methods
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Utilize laboratory resources to enhance learning experiences
  • Provide additional support to students with special education needs
  • Incorporate realworld examples and applications into lessons
  • Foster critical thinking and problemsolving skills in students
  • Use behavior management techniques to maintain a productive classroom environment
  • Offer tutoring and mentoring to students who require extra assistance

Non-negotiables:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT or related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Previous experience teaching IT at the secondary level is desirable
  • Strong knowledge of IT concepts and principles
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficient in using technology for teaching purposes
  • Experience in mentoring and guiding students in their academic journey
