Qualified Level 3

Senior Nursery Practitioner

Working with babies aged 0-2 years

Must have a full and relevant Levl 3 in Childcare, and experience working with babies.

Must be able to:

  • Supervise a small team
  • Take overall responsibility for the daytoday organistaion of the 02 years room
  • Plan & implement age & stage appropriate activities for babies aged 02 years
  • Create a safe & nurturing environment for babies to learn & grow
  • Promote healthy eating habits, change nappies and assist with potty training as needed
  • Communicate with parents regarding their child's progress, behaviour, and any concerns
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the 02 years room

Skills:

  • Minimum of 1 year (after qualification) experience of working with babies aged 02 years
  • Strong knowledge of child development principles and practices
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with young children
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • First Aid/CPR certification preferred
