We are a digital marketing agency based in Cheltenham, who are looking for external editors to support our busy In-House Content Team.


Our copy editors ensure that every piece of content is free of errors, easy to read and has the appropriate TOV.

You will need a passion for writing but also a sharp eye for detail and the ability to hit deadlines.

You will check over the writers' final draft ensuring the copy is error-free and suits the publishing site's style.

You also need to ensure the SEO elements of each article is correct - this includes the anchor text and landing page elements.

You will be working remotely for this role, so whether you edit best at home or in your favourite coffee shop, that's up to you

Key responsibilities include:

  • Proofing copy and fixing any grammatical and/or spelling errors
  • Fact check names, places, statistics and organisations
  • Ensure the copy is in line with the publishing site's 'house style'
  • Ensure SEO elements are correct
  • Working with and answering to the Content Manager and In-House Team

Required Skills:

  • Excellent written English, including outstanding spelling and grammar
  • A meticulous approach to work
  • An eye for detail
  • The ability to maintain highquality work while meeting deadlines
  • A love for the written word
