MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLEnThe Finance Analyst Revenue will support the Finance managers in managing aspects of Company Property Revenues and Costs which are key measures of operating performance, whilst seeking opportunities for growth and mitigating risks.nThe Analysts primary responsibility will be to ensure the accurate and timely postings of Month End activities, billing related activities as well as highlighting areas of continuous improvement.
The Analyst will have end-to-end ownership of their areas and be responsible for the analysis of large and complex data sets, month end accounting, forecasting of the key metrics and liaising with extended teams internally and externally regarding data integrity and performance.
Financial AccountingnPrepare timely and accurate billing of relevant services, provide appropriate detailed supporting back up where required.nPost and review the monthly transactions during the month-end cycle.nPerform and support reviews of monthly balance sheet reconciliations.nManage the delivery of monthly financial data to enable successful completion of financial reporting.nAssisting with tracking and resolution of queries raised, liaising with BI and other business functions where necessary.nSupport audit queries as required.
Reporting and analysis, forecasting and business partneringnPrepare the monthly Management Accounts and provide insightful commentary.nHelp Improve financial status by analysing results, monitor and report variances and identify trends.nReview, measure and remediate data and propose appropriate remedial or re-enforcing actions.nWork with the finance team to ensure all data is submitted on an accurately and timely basis.nProvide day to day and ad hoc financial support and analysis as required.nAssist with the accurate forecast of future finances and budgeting and revenue assurance.
Finance OperationsnUnderstand the key terms of the MSA contract and ensure continuous adherence to the requirements.nWork with stakeholders and suppliers to establish, implement, improve & maintain Best Practice, financial processes, systems and controls over Property Opex, including the remediation of any control weaknesses identified.
Expertise Needed:
nFinancial accounting knowledge and experience of managing relationshipsnEducation level / Qualifications (professional, vocational)nA professional finance qualification (e.g. ACA/CIMA/ACCA)nEducated to degree level
Skills / KnowledgenFinancial accounting knowledge and experience of managing relationshipsnAdvanced understanding of revenue and reportingnAble to understand and interpret complex data setsnAbility to analyse financial data and prepare financial reportsnAbility to work accurately to tight deadlinesnClear communicator – written and oralnProficient excel skills essential, Power BI skills would be beneficialnTeam player
