Are you passionate about animal welfare and ready to dive into a rewarding career in farming? The Best Connection are seeking a dedicated Broiler Farm Assistant to join our team and contribute to the success of poultry operation

  • Position: Broiler Farm Assistant
  • Location: TF6 Telford
  • Hours: 4048 hours per week, Monday to Saturday, with some evenings required. Flexibility required.
  • Pay Rate: £12£14 per hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Disposal of deceased poultry.
  • Monitor production performance to ensure optimal results
  • Uphold high standards of bird welfare at all times
  • Manage feed distribution and ensure proper nutrition for the flock
  • Complete all tasks with precision and attention to detail
  • Maintain a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues
  • Manage ventilation systems to promote a healthy environment for the birds
  • Assist with vaccinations and other healthrelated tasks
  • Keep accurate records of farm activities

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working on a farm, preferably with poultry
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective people management
  • Ability to perform manual duties efficiently and effectively
  • Proficiency in computer skills for record keeping and data management
  • Possession of a full UK driving license
  • Fulltime availability
