About Princes Gate

Position Summary

  • To coordinate and write the Risk Assessment (RA) and Safe System of Work (SSOW) for all areas. Assist each department in identifying gaps in RA and SOP and implementing a plan to ensure all gaps are closed according to the plan.
  • Provide RA and SSOW administration support i.e. make sure all required amendments are recorded, templates are updated, documents are uploaded and approved on the document management system.
  • Liaise with the Area managers (LPMs, Warehouse manager, water resources manager, Lab manager) to ensure that all RA's and SSOW's are reviewed, documented and approved on time, in full.
  • Deliver training, coaching, assessment to support the above.

A day in the life


In this role you will receive training on the Nestle Risk Assessment and Safe System of Work requirements and documentation standards.

You will spend the first 1-2 weeks identifying the gaps in the current documentation, creating and gaining approval for a robust action plan and the resources required.

You will then coordinate the tasks and people and liaise with all of the relevant stakeholders to ensure that the plan is delivered on time and in full.

You will use your knowledge to assess that the documents meet the Nestle requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring that all RA and SSOW documentation meets the Nestle requirements and standards.
  • Working with cross functional teams to ensure that the knowledge is embedded within the relevant teams for the future.
  • Training, coaching, assessing RA's, SSOW's and associated documentation to ensure that they meet the required standards and ensure the knowledge/competence levels are achieved.


The role is key to ensuring we have the correct documentation in place, it meets the legal requirements and Nestle standards and supports Nestle Waters in providing the right health and safety information and instruction to enable our people to work safely.

You will be expected to build positive relationships, lead by example and provide passion and drive to help support the successful implementation of the above.


What's on offer
The salary for this role is circa £26,000.

In addition, you will be part of the Company's discretionary annual bonus scheme, which is up to 5% of your basic annual salary.
