Just Imagine Day Nursery Maldon are looking for Nursery Bank Staff to join their team on a flexible basis. This will be a 0 hour contract. Just imagine day nursery Maldon is an intimate setting with a dedicated and enthusiastic team.

The size of our setting is no reflection on the quality of care that is provided and certainly doesn't limit our ambitious vision for both our families and the staff.

Our nursery is open from 7:00am - 18:30pm and we would require you to be able to work varied shifts between those times.

Salary will be dependant on qualifications and experience starting from £11.44 per hour

As Bank Staff, you will:

  • Assist room leader and other staff members in providing the highest standard of compliance, care, and education for children, and effectively carry out daily operations of the nursery, including positive partnerships with staff and parents.
  • Adhere to all Nursery policies and procedures.
  • Work closely with the Room Leader and other staff members in ensuring a smooth running of the daily routine.
  • Always meet health and safety and environmental health requirements
  • Contribute ideas to planning with stimulating activities, ensuring the children receive high quality of learning and development.
  • Liaise with nursery staff regarding children's specific needs and requirements.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment.

As Bank Staff, you will need:

  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • essential.
  • Level 2 / Level 3 Childcare Qualification desirable.
  • Over 1 year's experience of working in Early Years desirable.
  • Knowledge of the Statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements desirable.
  • Sound knowledge of Ofsted expectations to achieve a Good or Outstanding rating
