Job Role :
Kitchen Designer

You have kitchen design and fitting experience. With excellent knowledge of kitchen design, experience in fitting kitchens a benefit. Use of CAD systems benifical although not essential, as full training would be provided. You are willing to learn and develop new skills.


You need to have good written English, organizational skills, a flair for design, flexibility and have an attention to detail and be able to work within a small team.


Key Responsibilities

  • To correctly process estimates, plans, pricing, delivery dates, and stock requirements for every order/customer.
  • Liaise with various parts of the business including manufacturing, logistics and fitters on site
  • Assist with the on time delivery of projects
  • Work with our installers to keep installations running smoothly and making sure the customer is happy at all times and provide full specification packs to fitters.
  • Experience in the kitchen industry.
  • Computer literate and good understanding of Windows operating system.
  • Able to work as a team member in a small friendly family run business.
  • A confident communicator with the ability to engage, question and listen.
  • Ability to develop strong customer relationships and close sales.
  • Willingness to develop and improve.
  • Tidy and organised, with an eye for detail and the ability to accurately gather and record key points/information.
  • The ability to process information and use it to inform customer based decisions and designs.
  • Commitment and flexibility of working hours
  • Professional, enthusiastic and a strong work ethic.
  • To possess an appreciation of the technical issues associated with kitchen fitting
  • To know and be familiar with all products offered by Welcome Furniture FFE
  • Minumum 2 years exprience in kitchen industry
  • A passion and flair for kitchen design (style and functionality)
  • The confidence to point out potential issues to customers and make alternative suggestions.
  • Experience with kitchen design software
