Equi-Trek are the leading manufacturers of equestrian and leisure vehicles, supplying to the UK and overseas.


Due to exciting developments within our business we are currently recruiting for Quality Controller to join our team at Stocksbridge.


The Quality Controller will be required to check all vehicles/products, highlight faults, report on faults and quality issues and feedback into the quality system to ensure faults are resolved at root cause.


Main duties:

  • Check all vehicles at 1st and 2nd and PDI check level as required
  • Look after personal issued tools
  • Communicate problems and quality issues to the area Supervisor to be resolved, escalating as required
  • Comply with all Company Health and Safety Procedures
  • Train new starters and experienced staff in quality solutions
  • Conduct root cause analysis on problems
  • Create reports for end users on highlighted issues and provide resolutions
  • Work with the Quality Manager to ensure faults are resolved to the correct standard
  • Act on the end user feedback and implement preventive measures as required
  • Longer term, be prepared to help out on internal auditing across the various Company departments
  • You are a quick learner with keen attention to detail.
  • You are able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • You are a team player who can work well with others in order to meet company objectives.
  • You are observant and would challenge inconsistencies.
  • You are flexible in terms of approach to inspections as well as working hours (some overtime may be required).
The hours of work are 7:30-17:00 Monday to Thursday and 8:00-12:30 Friday.
