The Role

As a Build Manager, you will oversee a number of construction development projects throughout their lifecycle, all the way from land acquisition to completion.

You will ensure that Programme, Quality and Cost targets are achieved within agreed budgets and timescales through the effective leadership of Site Managers, other staff and subcontractors.

Working closely with all other departments, you'll be an advocate of quality and health and safety standards in all that your teams do.


About You
To be considered as a Build Manager, you will need:

  • Previous experience in the house building industry in a managerial position
  • Indepth knowledge of all aspects of the construction trade and the relevant legislative requirements e.g. Health and Safety, NHBC requirements and Building Regulations
  • Strong motivation skills with the drive and tenacity to achieve the goals of the business
  • The ability to influence, persuade and negotiate
  • The ability to manage performance through constructive feedback
  • Good knowledge, understanding and experience of dealing with all issues relating to customer care
