Gi Pro are proud to be working in partnership with a family run business who are in the service industry maintaining and commissioning machines for their clients in the west midlands.

Looking to expand their team to increase workload they're now looking for a multi skilled field service engineer.

Job Role:


As a Field service engineer, you will be tasked for carrying out reactive, preventative, and proactive maintenance for all equipment on client site.

Maintaining a range of specialist machinery and equipment through existing service contracts.

Typical Duties will involve:
Performing reactive breakdown repairs.
Carrying our planned preventative maintenance and scheduled services.
Recording all documentation accurately and on time.
Travel to client sites to perform equipment installations, repairs, and maintenance.
Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with equipment.
Repair or replace faulty components as needed.
Desirable experience
Previous experience as a field service engineer.
Must have a relevant engineering qualification electrical preferably.
Strong technical skills and knowledge of various types of equipment
Relevant engineering qualifications or apprenticeship.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
The ability to read advanced electrical / mechanical drawings on new machinery.
Full clean UK drivers' licence.
