Centrepoint, the UK's leading youth homelessness charity, is looking for a Trainer to join our Services team in Bradford. In return, you will receive a competitive salary plus excellent benefits.
This is a permanent opportunity with a closing date of 4th June 2024.

We help vulnerable young people by giving them the practical and emotional support they need to find a job and live independently.

Together with our partners, we support thousands of homeless young people each year.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a high quality, dynamic, and responsive service across Bradford.

The programme is target driven and you will be responsible for delivering accredited programmes and supporting young people to access work placements.

These programmes will be provided to young people in small groups in the classroom.

We are looking for a vibrant individual who has energy, focus and attention to detail, experience of delivering Functional Skills English and Maths up to Level 2, Employability and ideally have sector specific qualifications which can be utilised within our innovative vocational Get Set Go programmes.

Organise and deliver Functional Skills, employability and vocational skills, for young people through a blended learning approach including the use of digital based delivery models in group sessions.


Relevant Teaching Qualification:

We require candidates to be suitably qualified for the role, possessing a relevant teaching qualification such as PTLLS, DTLLS, PGCE to QTS, or equivalent.

A solid understanding of Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) processes is necessary to ensure the quality and compliance of our educational programs.


Innovative Training Delivery:

Proven ability to deliver innovative training both in the classroom and remotely, inspiring and motivating learners to achieve their goals.


Curriculum Planning:

Ability to plan and devise schemes of learning (scheme of work) with appropriate teaching and learning strategies, resources, and assessments.
