Here at HCRG Staffing, we are seeking a Band 7 Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) to work in an Eating Disorder service in East London.

Our client is offering a hybrid contract to someone who is available to do 2-days on-site and 3-days working from home. The contract will be for 3-months in the first instance, but will be reviewed for extension nearer to the end.

Specialist Clinical Skills

1. To provide highly specialised assessments for service users with an eating disorder. The assessments will include: mental health, physical health, social care, quality of life, domains of strengths and weaknesses. A range of self-report questionnaires and interviews will be employed which require specialist training to administer and interpret.

2. To provide assessments for carers.

3. To create complex family based psychological formulations using the specialist multidimensional assessments to guide the development of packages of care for the service user with eating disorders and/or their Carers.

4. To ensure that packages of care are communicated and implemented according to the care programme approach.

5. To provide appropriate advocacy for service users and their carers to ensure the provision of the care package.

6. To deliver of a range of specialist interventions for service users with eating disorder.

7. To provide individual and group therapy for carers of service users with eating disorders.

Ideally the client would like someone to have experience of working in a community eating disorder service delivering specialist psychological therapies. The client also requires BABCP accreditation
