Job Description: We are seeking an enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join our team starting in September 2024. This is a long-term contract position until July 2025, with the opportunity to go permanent.

We offer a broad and comprehensive curriculum delivered in modern facilities by passionate teaching staff committed to excellence. Geography is a thriving subject area with popularity at both Key Stage 4 and A-Level.

Requirements:

  • A Geography specialist, with the ability to teach other Humanities subjects
  • An outstanding teacher utilizing innovative teaching strategies and fostering strong relationships with students
  • A team player dedicated to student success and continuous self-improvement
  • Responsible and proactive in contributing beyond the classroom

Main Responsibilities Include:

  • Planning and preparing courses and lessons
  • Teaching students from Key Stage 3-5
  • Assessing, recording, and reporting on student development
  • Providing guidance on educational and social matters
  • Communicating with parents
  • Participating in performance review and staff development activities
  • Maintaining discipline and ensuring student safety
  • Attending meetings and examinations
