Senior Finance Manager

Our client specializes in property management and is in search of a Senior Finance Manager to join their dynamic finance team.

This role reports directly to the Finance Director and involves overseeing the Group's monthly financial and management accounting, fixed asset accounting, CapEx management, and management accounting and reporting.

The position requires working in the office 4 days a week.

We are seeking a Qualified Accountant with a background in working in a fast-paced environment and experience in leading a highly efficient team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage and review monthly accounting processes
  • Supervise the wider finance team (total of 4) to ensure adherence to accounting procedures consistently across the Group.
  • Develop the Group's monthly management accounts and provide precise, timely, and valuable insights.
  • Collaborate closely with departmental heads.
  • Assess monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Review income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow, and prepare Board reports.
  • Prepare balanced plan sheets and cash-flow, incorporating operational and financial insights from the Head of Business & Financial Performance and operational/functional leadership.
  • Review statutory accounts for the unaudited UK entities and the company's accounts.
  • Analyze data in regulatory submissions and provide insights to the Head of Tax & Treasury.
  • Support corporate and financial restructuring on an ad hoc basis as needed.

Candidate Profile

  • Qualified Accountant
  • Extensive experience in financial and management accounting roles
  • Collaboration with and assistance to non-finance managers
  • Background in a high-volume workload in Finance function.
  • Demonstrated expertise in statutory accounts and external reporting.
  • Proficiency in all MS Office applications, particularly intermediate Excel skills.
  • Leadership experience in managing high performing teams.
  • Familiarity with Financial systems.
  • Effective planning skills with a track record of meeting tight deadlines.
