About the Job: As a Senior Cost Consultant in East Central London, you'll be part of a dynamic multidisciplinary construction consultancy. About the Company: Established 7 years ago, this consultancy excels in modern construction practices, ensuring sustainable and community-friendly housing solutions.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Associate Director or Director
- Manage and supervise junior team members
- Handle all aspects of cost consultancy services
- Cost Control, Planning, Estimates, and Procurement
- Negotiation, contract preparation, and Supply Chain Engagement
- Budget Reconciliations and Reporting
- Client liaison, Site Valuations, and Contractor Payments
- Structure cost data for business enhancement
- Undertake Quality Assurance and champion technology utilization
Required Skills & Experience:
- Lead commercial management for largescale projects
- 5+ years' experience as a Cost Consultant / Quantity Surveyor
- Strong expertise in cost planning, control, reporting, and procurement
- Serve private sector clients with MRICS/MCIOB qualification
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar field
- Passion for MMC and/or sustainability is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
