  • You will have a regulatory or public health background or a dietetic/nutrition qualification and may have additional skills such as having worked in a food business.
  • You will have the skills to enable you to both develop a Healthier Food Programme (with advice of Public Health and Trading Standards colleagues) and work in a supportive way with food business owners to help them make impactful and sustainable changes towards a healthier food offer.
  • You must be able to work independently, with support from colleagues when required.
  • Build good connections with partners.
  • You will need to be able to undertake research and carry out evaluations.
  • Have excellent communication skills to liaise with a wide range of agencies, businesses, and customers.
